Common chauffeur questions
How does hourly chauffeur hire work?
You book a car and chauffeur for a block of time rather than a single trip. The chauffeur stays with you, waits between stops and follows your schedule as it changes through the day. It suits meetings across the city, dinners, viewings and any day where the plan may move.
What does hourly hire cost, and is there a minimum?
Hourly hire is from £45 per hour in an E-Class with a 4-hour minimum, and a full day of 8 hours including 40 miles is from £650. An S-Class adds 30 percent and a V-Class adds 40 percent, and every quote is agreed in writing before you travel.
How much does wedding car hire cost in Bristol?
Wedding packages start from £180, the 4-hour minimum, and are tailored to the car, the hours and the mileage. Every wedding includes a planning call and generous waiting between ceremony and reception, and we take one wedding per car per day so your car is never rushed.
How do corporate accounts work?
You tell us who is allowed to book and we agree terms in writing. Your people then book by phone, email or the online form, each journey carries your reference, a VAT receipt follows every trip, and one itemised invoice is sent each month rather than a stream of card charges. Account pricing is from £45 per hour or £59 per airport transfer.
What does a chauffeur do beyond driving?
A chauffeur plans the route, arrives early, watches the traffic and the flight, handles the cases and opens the door. Between stops they keep the cabin quiet and ready. The driving is the easy part, what you pay for is the half hour of preparation and judgement around it.

How do you handle discretion and confidentiality?
Discretion is the default, not an extra. Our chauffeurs are vetted and sign confidentiality terms, and we do not discuss who we carry or where. Where you have your own security team, our chauffeurs are comfortable working alongside them and planning movements quietly.
How much luggage can the cars take?
A Mercedes E-Class or S-Class carries up to three passengers with two large cases. The V-Class takes up to seven passengers with six large cases. If you are close to the limit, tell us the headcount and the bags and we will confirm the right car before you book.

Do you offer meet and greet at the airport?
Yes, and meet and greet is included as standard. Your chauffeur parks, monitors the flight and meets you in person rather than waiting in a car park. The pickup moves automatically if you land early or late, and waiting on arrivals is included up to 60 minutes.
How far in advance should I book?
A week is comfortable for most journeys, and we can often help at shorter notice. Weddings and multi-car bookings are best reserved two to three months ahead, particularly for summer dates, so the car and the chauffeur you want are held for you.
What areas do you cover?
We are based in Bristol and serve the whole South West, including Bath, Clifton and Portishead. Airport work runs to Heathrow, Gatwick and Bristol, and long-distance journeys anywhere in the UK are quoted on request.
Can I request the same chauffeur each time?
Yes, where their schedule allows. Regular and corporate clients often build a working relationship with one or two chauffeurs who learn their preferences, and we do our best to hold that continuity for you rather than sending whoever is free.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Your chauffeur tracks the flight and moves the pickup to match it, at no extra charge for the change itself. You are met when you actually land, not when you were scheduled to, and waiting on arrivals is included up to 60 minutes.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. LetsVIP is a licensed and insured private hire operator, trading as LetsVIP Ltd. Every quote is agreed in writing before you travel, so you know the total up front.
How do I pay, and can I be invoiced?
Private clients can pay by card, including Visa, Mastercard and Amex. Corporate account holders are invoiced monthly against a purchase order rather than paying at the kerb, with a VAT receipt after every journey.
Can you provide several cars for a group or event?
Yes. For weddings, events and roadshows we coordinate several cars to a single schedule, so a group arrives together and leaves without waiting for lifts. Tell us the headcount and the timings and we will send a vehicle plan and one total.
